Past President’s role
- Claim 30 minutes for reviewing meeting documents prior to meeting
- Ensures continuity during governance transition and organization change
- Helps ensure the appropriate succession of Directors
- Orientation: Knowledge transfer of role with President (6 months before term starts)
- Orientation: Ensures that new directors receive general orientation
to the Medical Staff Association processes, policies and structures
- Assists with the recruitment of new Directors
- Serves in an advisory capacity, along with the President of the Medical Staff Association, VP, and Secretary-Treasurer
- Co-approve electronic funds transfers
